KiloTango ("we," "us," or "our") operates KiloTangoUSA.com (the "Site"), an ammunition search engine. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

KiloTango is a ammunition search website that indexes publicly available ammunition pricing from licensed US retailers. We do not sell, ship, or distribute ammunition. 2.1 Information You Provide

We collect information you voluntarily provide, including:

  • Contact form submissions — your name and email address when you contact us
  • Retailer feed submissions — business name, feed URL, and contact email when retailers submit feeds via our Retailer Directory form
  • California compliance flow — ZIP code when using the FFL dealer locator (not stored beyond the session)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our third-party service providers may automatically collect:

  • Log data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps
  • Device information — device type, screen resolution, and browser settings
  • Usage data — search queries entered on the Site, calibers browsed, and links clicked

KiloTango does not collect:

4. Affiliate Referral Tracking

KiloTango participates in affiliate programs operated by AvantLink and Commission Junction (CJ Affiliate). When you click a product link on KiloTango and are redirected to a retailer's website, the affiliate network may place a tracking cookie on your browser. This cookie allows the network to attribute any resulting purchase to KiloTango for commission purposes.

This tracking is performed by the affiliate networks, not directly by KiloTango. You can opt out of affiliate tracking cookies through your browser settings or by using a browser extension that blocks tracking cookies. Opting out will not affect your ability to use KiloTango, but we will not receive commission credit for purchases you make.

KiloTango uses the following types of cookies:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — we may share data with vendors who assist us in operating the Site (e.g., hosting providers, analytics services). These providers are contractually required to use your data only as directed by us.
  • Affiliate networks — click-through data is shared with AvantLink and Commission Junction for commission tracking as described in Section 4.
  • Legal requirements — we may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of KiloTango, our users, or the public.

  • Server log data: up to 90 days
  • Analytics data: up to 14 months in anonymized form

The Site contains links to third-party retailer websites. When you click a product link, you leave KiloTango and are subject to the privacy policy of the destination retailer.
